Annual 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony

The Exchange Club of San Ramon Valley along with local veterans’ organizations is hosting the Annual 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony for the residents of the San Ramon Valley, featuring the family of the pilot of Flight 175.

 

This event will feature prominent guest speakers, hundreds of Scouts with an array of American Flags, joint Police and Fire Department Honor Guard and Pipes and Drums, the Monte Vista High Chamber Choir, White Wings Dove Release, and many other patriotic participants.

 

Immediately following the ceremony there will be a free community picnic. Students are invited to pick up forms to enter the 9/11 Essay Awards.

Keynote: 15th Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

 

“Honoring My Uncle Victor Saracini, Pilot of Flight 175”, by Justin Clark

Keynote speaker Justin Clark will share his uncle’s last moments as Captain and pilot of Flight 175 when terrorists crashed the plane into the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Justin was an 8th grader on September 11, 2001.
