The Town of Danville is looking for community-minded residents to fill vacancies on four Town committees/commissions. The following commissions are looking for new members:
Arts Commission: Four members, 4-year term begins July 1, 2013
Parks and Leisure Services Commission: Four regular/One alternate 4-year terms begins July 1, 2013
Parks and Leisure Services Commission: Youth Representative 2-year term begins July 1, 2013
County Connection Citizens Advisory Committee: 2-year term begins immediately.
Poet Laureate: 2-year term begins July 1, 2013
Applications are available on the Town’s website, www.danville.ca.gov. Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk’s office no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 22, 2013.
Interviews will take place on June 4, June 11 or June 18, 2013. The Town Council will appoint commissioners at their June 18, 2013 meeting.
