Flags will be flying over the Danville Town Meeting Hall as officials prepare a Welcome Home event for Navy Corpsman Kevin Bradley.

Bradley, a 2007 graduate from Monte Vista High School, is being honored by the Town through the Sentinels of Freedom - Operation Welcome Home Program. The event is set to take place at 6:30 p.m. on June 15 at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Street.

Home on leave from Afghanistan, Bradley will be escorted to the Meeting Hall, where Town Officials, local veterans groups and residents will officially welcome him home.

Now in its sixth year, the “Sentinels of Freedom – Operation Welcome Home” program honors and recognizes community members who have returned from active duty following service to our country. Since inception of the program, the Town Council is proud to have honored 53 returning military men and women.
