Charity Dog Wash will help homeless pets

Where can wet dogs help raise money for homeless pets? At the Dog Dynasty Charity Dog Wash and Celebration. Dog Dynasty is a dog daycare, boarding and spa facility with a commitment to helping dogs and cats who are looking for homes. Not only do they provide free boarding for pets in the Maddie’s Fund® Foster Program, they’re holding a charity dog wash to raise money for the foster pets’ needs.
The dog wash and celebration will be held 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 7132 Johnson Drive in Pleasanton, CA. In addition to the dog wash, there will be pet adoptions from 10 AM to 1 PM, along with special music, photos by Tom Minczeski, a few bites to eat, and wet play opportunities for dogs and people alike.

“Pets are happier when living with people, so our adoption program is foster home-based,” said Maddie’s® Adoption Program Director Dr. Sheila D’Arpino. “But sometimes we have an emergency arise, and we’re very grateful to Dog Dynasty, which provides boarding services in these urgent situations. They help us immensely in our lifesaving work.”
