"Ballet 101" coming to Orinda Theater

Diablo Ballet presents: “Ballet 101″ 

How do ballerina’s stand on their toes? Why do tutu’s cost thousands of dollars? How do ballerina’s stand on their toes?

Join Diablo Ballet’s Artistic Director and dancers for “Ballet 101” Thursday March 14th 7 PM at the Orinda Library (26 Orinda Way).  This  talk is perfect for dance fans and those who just want to know more about the ballet world.

The special presentation will include discussions about ballet history, dance steps, stories behind your favorite ballets, and what it’s like to be a professional ballet dancer. You can also enter a free drawing to win tickets to the May Diablo Ballet performances.
