Three of Our Own: Ann Damaschino, Lyn Roberts, and Elisabeth Tuck will present ”Why Editing is Essential to Writing” at the next luncheon meeting of the Mt. Diablo Branch of the California Writers Club (CWC) on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Zio Fraedo’s Restaurant, 611 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill.

Ann Damaschino is a former technical editor for Shell Oil Company and academic editor for the Acalanes School District, prior to a career in non-profit fundraising.

Lyn Roberts has written and edited for a local newspaper, a college, and various companies—film, engineering, and design.  She is an independent literary editor who works with fiction writers.

Elisabeth Tuck began her career as a social worker, and then a computer programmer/project manager and writer before becoming a professional literary editor.

Check-in begins at 11:15 am. A festive seated luncheon and complimentary beverage will be served from noon to 12:45 pm, followed by the program. The cost is $20 for CWC members, $25 for guests.
