Contra Costa Chorale Spring Concert 2013

$12 – $15The Contra Costa Chorale, directed by Cindy Beitmen, will perform the West Coast premiere of the recently published Mozart Requiem for soloists, chorus, and 4-hand piano accompaniment arranged by Carl Czerny. Released in June 2012, this first edition has been performed in the UK and parts of the US, and will now be heard in the Bay Area. In addition the Chorale will sing Haydn’s Insanae et vanae curae and will be joined by the audience in a sing-along featuring Mozart’s Ave verum corpus. Soloists include Rita Lilly, Wendy Buzby, Br. Justin Gable, O.P., and Thomas Hart with Cara Bradbury and Kristin Pankonin on piano.
