Pinecone Picnic

FreePinecone Picnic at Historic Forest Home Farms
Stroll around the farm and learn about its history, through interpretive panels and interactive exhibits, see antique tractors and farm machinery in the tractor museum, and participate in free activities. Visit the Welcome Center and purchase old-fashioned toys and gifts at the Gift Shoppe.
Find out what a pinecone really is, which animals use pinecones as food and make a pine cone craft to take home.
The pinecone picnic runs from 11am to 2pm on August 1st.
This is a free event. Guided tours of the Glass House begin at 2pm with admission being $5 a person payable by credit card only (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
