A Taste and Toast of France

$5 – $8Interested in travelling to different parts of the world, but want to know a bit more before you go? The Town of Danville has the answer, with a new series welcoming adults, ages 21 and over, to experience different regions around the world in the Taste and Toast of… series.
The first of the series, Taste and Toast of France, is scheduled for January 9 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Danville Senior Center, located at 115 East Prospect Avenue.
This program will be a stimulating and fun event for adults to experience France through food, demonstrations, and books. Adults will enjoy fine French wines and delicious cheese, scarf styling from a Nordstrom representative, savor delights during a cooking demonstration, peruse an exhibit of fine French items, and Rakestraw Books will present their favorite French picks.
The second event in this series, Taste and Toast of Ireland, will be held on March 13.
The cost is $5 residents, $6 non-residents and $8 at the door.
