Hope Hospice elects new officers

Three members of the Hope Hospice Board of Directors have been elected as officers on the board. They are Danville resident Patrick Brown, vice president; Walnut Creek resident William Harvey, treasurer; and Danville resident Melanie Ridley, secretary. Pleasanton resident Captain Craig Eicher is the current president of the board. “We are fortunate that our board officers reside in the communities we serve and each brings valuable experiences and expertise to our organization,” says Bob Boehm, Hope Hospice CEO.

Patrick Brown recently retired from San Francisco Print Media Company (publisher of the San Francisco Examiner) where he was the general manager. He has had a long and well-respected career in the media business. Brown received his degree in accounting from the University of Iowa. He has lived in the Tri-Valley community for many years.

William Harvey, CFP, is a certified financial planner with Spectrum Wealth Partners, a private company based in San Ramon. Prior to that he worked Charles Schwab & Company and Morgan Stanley and has also held positions in the banking industry in Danville and Walnut Creek. Harvey graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration (marketing).

Melanie Ridley, a fund development and health care quality consultant has nearly 15 years of experience in public health, mental health, women’s health and health care access for the uninsured. Ridley has a Bachelor of Science degree in community nutrition from the University of California, Davis.
